Premier Edge Cataract Knives Premier Edge cataract knives are technologically advanced in their design to produce a consistently sharp edge. ViscoShield is a dispersive HPMC viscoelastic composed of a sterile high molecular weight, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose solution for use in anterior segment surgical procedures including cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation.
Viscoshield HPMC protects the corneal endothelial cells during surgery and can be easily aspirated from the anterior chamber following surgery.

A turn for the better Limbal relaxing incision procedures have been found to be highly effective in correcting astigmatism and have gained widespread clinical acceptance. Oasis has developed an innovative microsurgical cutting instrument that significantly improves this procedure. Its called the Terry Schanzlin astigmatome.
This device can be used both in theatre or with a little practice at the slit lamp.

Accurately measures scotopic pupil size and corneal diameter of cataract and refractive candidates prior to surgery.
The Colvard pupillometer utilises lamp amplification technology to allow visualisation of the patients pupils in a darkened exam room.
S/A Plug- Post lasik dry eye
The SA extended Durations plug was originally designed for transient post lasik dry eye. Although regularly used now as a diagnostic plug they are an effective and economical solution to those transient symptoms post surgery. They last for us to three months and come in 4 sizes. They are introduced by forceps.
